Submission Instructions

All nominations must be submitted using the official VFW Public Servant Award Citation form and include all required supporting documentation. Posts should submit complete nomination packages to their District Commander for verification before forwarding to Department Headquarters.

NOTE: VFW Point of Contact should fill out their section of the form before distributing to individuals submitting nominations. This ensures individuals from outside the VFW have the needed information to submit their packets successfully.
