Join us at the VFW booth to connect with veterans, share your story, and help grow our VFW family across Arizona.

Why We Need You

Every year, thousands of Arizonans attend the State Fair—including many veterans and their families. The VFW booth is one of our best opportunities to:

• Meet eligible veterans and invite them to join.

• Share resources on VA benefits, scholarships, and community programs.

• Show the face of the VFW as veterans helping veterans.

• Strengthen our Posts and communities across Arizona.

What Volunteers Do

As a booth volunteer, you’ll:

• Greet fairgoers with a smile and a handshake.

• Talk with veterans about membership and benefits.

• Hand out flyers and information cards.

• Help connect people to their local Post.

• Answer basic questions (training and talking points provided).

👉 You don’t have to be a recruiter expert—just bring your enthusiasm and VFW pride.

Volunteer Details

• 📍 First Two Weekends (Sept 19–21 & Sept 25–28):

• Evening shift only → 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• 📍 All Remaining Weekends (Oct 3 – Oct 26):
  Two shifts each day →

  • 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

  • 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
