When Are Inspections Due?

The program goal is to get as many as possible, if not all, inspections done by Fall Conference,
and all inspections complete by December 31st, 2025.

TACOM Rifle and Military Equipment Inventory

As part of the inspection process, all Posts in possession of military property such as ceremonial rifles or equipment issued through TACOM (Tank-automotive and Armaments Command) must maintain accurate inventory records. These items are government property and must be properly stored, tracked, and reported annually. Posts are required to verify serial numbers, secure storage, and proper usage according to TACOM guidelines. Any changes in inventory, including damage, loss, or transfer, must be reported immediately. Failure to maintain proper documentation may result in equipment recall or ineligibility for future allocations.
