In 2015 I joined the VFW Auxiliary under the eligibility of my husband, Robert, a 16-year U.S. Navy Gulf War Veteran. At Auxiliary 11014 Meadview I volunteered in the canteen, the kitchen, as maintenance and held the office of President 2 years and Secretary 4 years.

I became a Life Member in 2020 and an auxiliary member at 10386 in Kingman and held the office of Secretary for 1 year. District 8 Arizona – Prior to the division in September 2023, I served as Conductor, Chaplain, Sr. Vice President and 3 years as Secretary.

I love all the VFW Auxiliary Programs – Scholarships has a special place in my heart and visiting the VFW National Home for the Celebrating America's Freedom Event, Washington DC for the Legislative Conference 2026, and National Home for Jr Vice have been the highlights of being a VFW Auxiliary Member.
