Brenda Kinghorn is a Lifetime Member of Wm Hamilton VFW Post Auxiliary 2364 in Pinetop/Lakeside, where she currently serves as Treasurer. She joined the Auxiliary eight years ago under the eligibility of her oldest son Richard, a retired Army Medic who served two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her commitment to the VFW runs deep — her grandfather, William Brown, commanded Flagstaff VFW Post 1709 from 1955 to 1958 and served in the Navy during World War II.
