I originally joined the Auxiliary at Post 7968, also in Apache Junction, where I volunteered served as both Chaplain and Hospital Chairman for five years.  I also volunteered in the Canteen and kitchen for several  years. 

While at 7968, I met a wonderful comrade, Jason Walker, the Post Quartermaster, whom I married last year and am enjoying this new phase of my life with him and my three daughters, Nicole, Emily and Molly.  

As a retired nurse, supporting our veterans in hospital situations has been a natural devotion for me, and I have served as the VAVS Representative for Phoenix Region 2 for the past three years, as well as the Dept Hospital Chairman for the 2020-2022 years.
